Why Recalling a Submission Can Be Important

Sometimes, after submitting a form or application, you might realise that changes are needed. You might need to correct mistakes, update certain bits of information or simply withdraw it from the submission process. That’s where the recall function comes in. Recalling a submission allows you to take it back for editing or review before it continues through the review or processing workflow.

How to Recall a Submission

  1. Firstly you'll need to log in to your Dapple account. You will immediately be taken to a list of all your previous submissions, the status of each submission and the message histories with the Organisations you've submitted material to.

  2. Search for the submission you would like to recall

  3. On the right hand side of the submission under the column "Actions", there will be 3 small dots. Click on this to see the ability to Recall.

  4. Select this option to Recall.

  5. The submission will then be returned to Draft status and you'll be able to make more edits before being able to resubmit if necessary.

Recalling a submission will immediately remove it from the Organisation's list of submissions. They will no longer have access to view the submission or any of the it's contents or form data. Please note that you will only be able to recall submissions that are yet to be reviewed by the Organisation in the Received status. You can search for any previously recalled submissions by using the status filter.
