Accessibility Statement

Last updated: April 2026

Applies to: dapplehq.com and app.dapplehq.com

Our commitment

Send Something Ltd (trading as Dapple) is committed to making its website and platform accessible to everyone, regardless of ability or the technology they use. We believe the tools that power creative communities should be usable by all — including people who rely on assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, or voice control software.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our accessibility standard.

Current conformance status

Dapple is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

We have designed the platform with the following accessibility principles in mind:

  • Semantic HTML structure throughout the application
  • Keyboard navigability for all core user journeys
  • Sufficient colour contrast across the interface
  • ARIA labels on interactive elements
  • Responsive design that adapts to zoom levels up to 400%
  • No content that flashes more than three times per second
  • Text alternatives for non-decorative images

Known limitations

We are aware of the following areas where accessibility may not yet meet WCAG 2.1 AA in full:

  • Some complex interactive components (such as drag-and-drop stage boards) do not yet have full keyboard equivalents
  • Not all third-party embedded content has been independently audited for accessibility
  • A formal Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR / VPAT) has not yet been completed

We are actively working to address these limitations. A full third-party accessibility audit and VPAT are planned within the next 12 months.

What we're doing to improve

  • Accessibility review is included in our feature development process
  • New features are tested for keyboard navigation and screen reader compatibility before release
  • Automated accessibility scanning (axe-core) is being integrated into our development pipeline
  • A third-party accessibility audit is scheduled within the next 12 months
